Yes. If your roof void is accessible and safe to access it will be inspected. If the inspector deems that the roof void is unsafe to enter, then they will do all that they can to inspect it by other means. A visual inspection from the manhole or exterior roof inspection may take place. The report shall clearly outline the roof void inspection and if there were any impediments.

The same process per above shall apply for sub floor access also.

This is important as there is no sub floor for the inspector to assess due to the concrete being on the ground, termites only need very small gaps in concrete voids or cracks to gain access to enter the timber structure undetected, were highly experienced in identifying these and other entry points.

On average, a combined building and pest inspection will take between one and half to 2 hours to complete, depending on the size of the house, access, difficulties during the inspection and the age of the dwelling may take longer to inspect.
